Capacity Building of VET providers in the Sustainable Tourism

The SustainTour project bridges the gap between the tourism labor market and VET offerings in the Western Balkans, namely Albania and Kosovo.

It introduces a new role, the Sustainable Tourism Advisor, to promote sustainable transformation in tourism by addressing green, social, and digital challenges.

Creation of a Toolkit of Pedagogical Resources for advisors and trainers

Launch a digital learning environment and assessment tool

Delivery of Training of Trainers and national pilot sessions in Albania and Kosovo

Establishment of a Community of Practice to foster long-term collaboration and innovation

Work Packages Overview

WP1 - Project Management & Coordination (Led by BEE)

Ensures smooth implementation, partner collaboration, and overall project monitoring.

WP2 – Methodological Concept & Competence Framework (Led by MMC)

Defines the occupational profile of the Sustainable Tourism Advisor and the core competencies required in the sector.

WP3 – Development of the Blended Learning Programme (Led by DOCUMENTA)

Designs the educational package, including a digital learning platform and assessment tool.

WP4 – Pilot Training Activities (Led by DIMITRA)

Delivers Training of Trainers and national pilot programmes in Albania and Kosovo.

WP5 – Dissemination & Exploitation (Led by BEE)

Promotes project results, ensures stakeholder engagement, and supports sustainability through a Community of Practice.
